In 2008, I was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to pursue a PhD degree in the United States. In 2014, I obtained my PhD at the Department of Statistics and Operations research at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill under the supervision of Joseph G Ibrahim and Hongtu Zhu.
Personal
In the summer, if I am not in the office, you will find me hiking PKOLS park or taking care of my garden (see pictures below). I love being outdoors! I feel lucky to live in the beautiful city of Victoria, British Columbia. I love travelling and exploring new places with my 6 years-old twin girls and my partner. I am also a coffee and a science geek.
